Susan Fitzgerald is Chief Executive Officer of Susan Fitzgerald & Associates, Inc. (SFA). She directs a multitude of diverse projects and provides program management for large-scale, enterprise-wide information technology (IT) programs. Ms. Fitzgerald has over 35 years of senior government expertise and is also a recognized expert on government contracting and procurement management. With honors, she attained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Purchasing & Material Management and a Master of Public Administration, Management, both from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. In addition, she successfully completed the GMU Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate Program in 2016. She maintains current certifications as Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) from the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Since 1989, she has also served as a Master NIGP instructor.
